Harvesting and Processing

Beeswax is harvested after the beekeepers collect the honey. Then using only a knife they cut the wax caps from the honey combs. Then, the wax caps are being boiled in low temperatures (65 Celsius degrees = 149 Farheneit degrees), in special bronze pots, because higher temperatures would destroy the quality of the beeswax making it improper for use.

From that point the beeswax is extracted and mixed with a special harvest Greek extra virgin olive oil can be combined with other ingredients such as, thyme, incense and propolis.
